We worked hard to make Dad's Kitchn convenient, flexible and affordable with a varied menu featuring tasty dishes from all over the world, all freshly cooked with zero added sugar or preservatives.
Our unique approach to meal delivery means you can eat fresh more often.
Our promise: truly simple, healthy, delicious meals ready in 5 minutes. Because when your dinner is sorted and you don't need to worry about cooking, life becomes much simpler and easier.
Once you’ve selected your plan and chosen your meals, we’ll ask you to confirm your plan frequency, shipping address, and payment method. When you hit “Continue” your card will be charged with the order amount and the order will be zapped to our kitchen. You’ll get a confirmation email straight away.
Based on the week’s orders, we source the right amount of top-quality ingredients, and our chefs will prepare your meals and pop them into our reusable containers fresh and packing in our chilled boxes ready for shipping. Our packaging guarantees that your food will stay cool for a minimum of 8 hours after dispatch.
Once your order is dispatched, you’ll get email notification that your order is on its way to your door.
You can change things up or cancel at any time! You're in complete control of your subscription.
Our cutoff is Thursday 11.59 PM AEST. Any changes or cancellation need to be done prior to the cut off.

Once you’ve confirmed your subscription, you'll start receiving deliveries from the next available Monday (our cutoff is Thursday night at 11:59 PM AEST time), and from that moment on deliveries will continue based on the frequency you’ve chosen. You'll be charged before each delivery, but you can skip a week or cancel before the Thursday cutoff – there are no fees to take either action and no minimum time commitment.
Our meal plan prices are flexible and entirely upto you depending how many meals and how many times a week you order.
Our meals are priced based on the following:
The Meal Size: 2 Serves, 4 Serves or 6 Serves. The larger the order the cheaper the per serve price.
The Meal Type: Our vegetarian meals are priced from $10 per serve and Non-vegetarian meals are priced from $11 per serve.
We don't have a minimum order limit per delivery.
You can choose a 1, 2 or 3 Evening subscription plan and customise which meals you receive each day.

Well, we think there is a better way to getting your food delivered with out adding to the waste generated by excess packaging that comes with meal delivery these days.
Getting food in a reusable container is not something new, we all do it when we bring the delicous food back from our parents house. You borrow the container, wash it and return it.
We are just taking the idea and using it at a larger scale by delivering your meals in food safe stainless steel containers made from 75% recycled materials.
We just ask you leave a $20 deposit when you sign up to cover any loss of containers. We'll refund the deposit back to you if you cancel your subscription upon return of the containers.

Absolutely not! We cook from fresh ingredients only, nothing else added. We don’t use any artificial or chemical preservatives, and there’s no added sugar. Instead, we deliver fresh food more times during the week so you don't have to store meals in the freezer for long. Have freshly made delicious food more often instead
You’ll find detailed instructions for each of our dishes on our weekly menu. but these steps are valid for all our meals:
1. Bring a saucepan upto temperature and transfer the meal from the container and heat it up for 5 minutes. OR
2. Transfer the meal from the container to a microwave safe bowl and heat it up for 3 to 5 minutes.
3. Put container lids in the recycling bin, wash the containers and put them back in the delivery box with the rest of the packaging to return to us on our next delivery so we can reuse it.

Dad's Kitchn is a meal subscription service: we cook from fresh ingredients in our kitchen, and deliver ready-to-eat meals to your doorstep upto 3 times a week (depending on what you opt for).
Getting started is super easy, but there are a few things to remember:

It’s a subscription. Once you check out, you'll start getting upto three deliveries a week (depending on your plan) of your chosen meals unless you skip, cancel, or change.

You're in full control! Make changes to your next delivery until Thursday night the week before at 11:59 PM AEST time. Deliveries are always on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

It's easy to skip: if you’re going away for a week (or a few!) or just need a break from us, you’re always one click away from skipping a delivery.

Your first order is a starting point for the future, but every week you can update your menu selections and quantities. Any changes will become your new default order, so do double-check it before the next delivery is confirmed to make sure you're getting everything you want, and nothing you don't.
- If you need to change your plan, You can do so by cancelling your current plan and sign up to a new one on our website.

Dad's Kitchn works on a subscription basis. When you place your first order you’ll start a recurring subscription with us.
However, we don't have a minimum order limit, so you can sign up to our 1 Evening meal plan to experience Dad's Kitchn.
No worries though: you can always skip, change, or cancel a delivery before every cutoff on Thursday nights by 11:59 PM AEST time. So if you really didn’t like your first box (we hope that's not the case!) or Dad's Kitchn just isn’t for you, you are free to walk away before your next delivery is confirmed. No strings.

If you'd like to cancel, no hard feelings! (We’re going to miss you, though).
Login to your account and head over to "Subscriptions", then click “Manage”. You'll see a "Subscription settings" link at the bottom of the page. When you’re at this point, click on “Cancel my subscription”. We'll ask you a couple of quick questions about why you're cancelling and you'll be all set.
If there's anything we can do before you decide to go, do get in touch and we promise we’ll do what we can to sort things out! Either way, it's easy to come back and reactivate your subscription when you're ready.

About our food
Two, Four or Six servings per meal depending on your meal plan.
Each container has your chosen portion of a main and a side(where applicable, you can see which meals come with sides on our weekly menu).
Each serve weighs around 400g (including main and side)with no preservatives or added sugars. We're obsessed with providing excellent value and all the nutrition a body needs. You’ll find more details and macros on our menu page.
We get inspired by a variety of cuisines from all around the world: Indian, Italian, Japanese, Malaysian, Mediterranean, South American.
We are constantly experimenting and adding new dishes and new combinations to our menu based on customer feedback. Is there something in particular you’d like to see on our menu? Drop us a line, or subscribe to our newsletter to stay informed of any new arrivals.
We cook your meals fresh, so each will last a minimum of 2 days in the fridge from your date of delivery.
If you can't get through all your food in time, just pop the left overs in your freezer.
You can freeze your meals at any time within 2 days of delivery. Just remember to eat them as soon as they're defrosted. You’ll need to heat them for a few extra minutes if cooking from frozen - though we recommend to fully defrost first!

Packaging, Reuse and Recycling
Extremely. All our packaging is 100% reusable or recyclable, so nothing has to go to landfill.
The food is packaged in reusable containers made from 75% recycled stainless steel and our recyclable cardboard boxes made from 100% recycled materials contain a reusable insulation liners to keep everything fresh and chilled for longer.
The 100% recyclable gel-filled cool packs ensure your food arrives at a safe temperature and stay cool for atleast 8 hours on the day of delivery, depending on ambient temperatures
All our packaging is fully reusable or recyclable (including the containers, lids, insulation liner, cool packs and delivery box)
To Return: After you've had your lovely dinner wash the containers and place them back into the delivery box with the packaging and leave the delivery box for us to collect and swap it with another filled with delicous meals on our next delivery.
To Recycle: Simply wash the container lids and pop the lids in the recycle bin.
Managing your subscription and payments
Our cutoff for orders is on Thursday nights at 11:59 PM AEST time, and we deliver on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. This leaves us with a lead time of at least 4 days, so we can buy always-fresh ingredients to cook and deliver for you.

If you confirm your order between Monday and Thursday, you’ll get your first box the following week.

If you confirm your order after Thursday, your first box will be with you the week after next. To make things crystal clear, we show the next available delivery date on our website
Any promo codes or coupons should be added before payment is confirmed. When you’re on your Order Summary page, look for the “I have a coupon” button under the “Cart” selection, click it, and type your code in there.
You can find all the receipts for your past orders on your account. Simply log in and go to the “Shipment” section. They're all there for you to download!
Managing your account
Your username is the email address we have on your account. You can change that – and your password – by logging in to your Dad's Kitchn account and heading to the ‘Account’ section.
You can change your bank card number by logging in to your Farmstand account and then heading to the ‘Account’ section.
Login to your account and head over to "Subscriptions", then click “Manage”. When you’re there, click on the “Edit button under the Shipping Address section. Update your details, confirm, et voilà!
You can cancel your subscription from the “Subscriptions” section of your account (see the Q&A in this section). If you want us to physically remove all of your data from our database, please get in touch at support@dadskitchn.com
Delivery
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
We’re still a small business and we’re designing our service to be as efficient and sustainable as possible. As we grow, we’ll expand this to more options.
First of all, check that everything is as expected (reach out on support@dadskitchn.com if not!)
Storage wise, you have two options:

If you’re eating within the next 2 days, just pop everything in the fridge. Remember that all our food is fresh, so do make sure to consume within 2 days.

If you’re planning to eat later or aren’t sure, you can freeze all your meals (better if you do it at the earliest convenience), but remember to thoroughly defrost the meal you froze before reheating, and to use them as soon as they’re defrosted.
We deliver on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 3 PM and 7 PM. A email notification is sent to you via when your delivery has been dispatched, so you know to expect the delivery during the delivery window.
We'll always aim to deliver your food within the delivery window, however we cannot guarantee it as traffic and other circumstances are out of our control. However we will get in touch with you if there are any delays expected due to unforeseen circumstances.
If incase you were expecting a delivery and it hasn't arrived there could be other reasons as to why:
1. Make sure you to check your account on the expected delivery dates. It's possible your delivery is not due this week.
2. Your payment has not gone through and your order has not been processed. We always notify you via email when a payment has been unsuccesful in good time so you have a chance to update your details to reprocess.
We’ll send you an email notification and delivery details when we dispatch your box, but if you’re having a hard time receiving your box, or have other concerns you'd like to discuss please let us know at support@dadskitchn.com so we can help solve things quickly.
